Q: How far in advance do I need to order my bin?

A: Our availability varies
from week to week. Often times on weekdays we can offer same-day service, however if booking for a weekend rental, we suggest ordering at least 3-5 days in advance.


Q: What if I can’t fit everything into 1 bin? Can you guys bring me a second one, and how much does it cost?

A: If a second bin is required
on the same jobsite, we’d be glad to come swap it out for you. Binz offers a discount of
$50.00 off the regular price of the bin rental for the second (and third, and fourth…) bin on the same jobsite.

Q: Where will you place the bin?

A: There are several different options for placement of the bin on/at a property. The four most common locations are:

Right on the driveway
Our roll-off system is designed to roll the bins on and off your driveway with minimal impact to ensure no damage is done to the driveway.

In the back lane
All back lanes are different and there are times when access
to the back lane may be too tight or narrow for our truck/ trailer. We will do our best to place a bin in a back lane at the customer’s request, but we cannot guarantee that we’ll be able to do so.

Front street
As long as there are no parking restrictions (no park zones, fire hydrants, stop signs, etc…) we can place the bin on the street in front of your property. Binz can also supply you with a “use of street” permit from the City of Winnipeg at a cost of $15.00 (Obtaining this permit yourself form the City will cost you over $100.00, and not all companies provide the permit for their customers) The permits are good for 3 days.

Front yard
Sometimes the best place for the bin is on the front yard of a property. Binz will do it’s best to take precautions from damaging your lawn, however it is at the risk of the homeowner, as the bin can get quite heavy once loaded, and lawns can get quite soft at certain times in the year.

Q: When do you pick up the bin?

A: Just give us a call when the bin is ready to go. We will schedule a pick-up time, and you don’t even have to be home when we come by to get it. Your final invoice will be sent to you via e-mail once all work is complete.


Q: Where do you take the loaded bin away to?

A: Depends on what is in the bin. Binz uses recycling facilities whenever we can. Items that can be recycled include: shingles, metals, clean fill and concrete.
Mixed loads of junk/waste are taken to one of the three landfills in the area that we utilize. If you have questions about recycling, please give us a call and we can figure out the best solution for disposal of your items.
